Dr. Jones's distinguished military career in the Air Force Reserve spans over two decades, during which he was honored with multiple Air Force Commendation and Meritorious Service Medals, retiring with the esteemed rank of Lt. Colonel in 2021. This discipline and dedication have translated into his civilian practice, where he has served the Atlanta community for the past twenty years. His journey includes owning a private practice before dedicating six years to practicing optometry in Costco offices, where he continues to enrich lives through his passion for eye care.
Beyond the office, his passion extends into the community, where he conducts weekly eye exams for underserved elementary schools in the Atlanta area. He enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his wife, Dawn, at their Smyrna home. A high school baseball umpire, avid gardener and bird enthusiast, he also shares a love for travel, biking, skiing, and scuba diving with Dawn. Together, they cherish spending time with their seven grandchildren, actively participating in their various activities.
